It’s a Puzzler

Silver Birch Lodge has a very active group that is putting all the pieces together. Literally. Thousand piece puzzles are just a warm up for this group of puzzleers. Were going to have to scour the inter-webs to bring them some new challenges as they seem to be completing some pretty intricate puzzles in Guinness record times.

I have many more pictures to show here but am working on changing the .mov ( Movie) format to a .jpeg format which I need for the website. When submitting pictures please check that your camera is not set to the movie format.

Thanks Giving

I think one of the best ways to build community is to break bread together. When the bread includes turkey that’s a step up! thanks to the community builders who made the recent Thanks Giving celebration at Silver Birch Lodge such a success.

Bear With Me…

By now, I am sure every tenant and staff member has seen or heard about the bears that have been visiting us. Concerned tenants have asked to have the bears removed and a conservation officer attended and dropped off a bear trap.

He warned me that tenants leaving out bird feeders, humming bird feeders and leaving food out for squirrels, contributes to this problem. As such tenants who do leave out feeders can be charged under the conservation act.

These bears will most probably be considered habituated, and will not simply be re homed.

We all love our wildlife, let’s keep them, and ourselves safe. Please don’t feed the bears, even inadvertently.
